Tornevalls Neural Ensemble is our unruly playground – a container where neural tools collide with analog instincts. The concept surfaced publicly with the single “Bloody Cornflakes” on 2025-07-12, then expanded into a dedicated outlet for sketches that do not fit under other aliases, because artificial intelligence involvements. Read the origin post here: Tornevalls Neural Ensemble says hello. See the project overview here: About.
What this project is – and is not. It is not a band or a fixed alias. It is a catch-all folder for experiments where AI-generated stems, vocals and textures are rewritten, re-timed and re-EQ’d by hand before anything leaves the DAW. Some pieces begin with neural MIDI or voice models, others only borrow a spark. Purity tests are pointless – the end result decides whether a stem survives. This ethos is stated in the original hello-post and remains the baseline.
Why split it from the main catalogue?
Thomas already juggles multiple monikers – Rhythm Shifter for drum and bass, The Housifyer for club edits. Parking AI-heavy material under a separate banner avoids confusing listeners who expect a specific vibe while granting full license to break form. Some people, and especially artists, hate AI generated because it steals the soul from real hard working artists. So, to not create conflicts with this, the artists has been separated from each other.
Distribution on DSPs appears under the main artist profile. Start here: Thomas Tornevall on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube channel for TNE, SoundCloud profile.

What to expect next?
Regular drops that blur breakbeats with choral fragments and glitch. Studio write-ups that show prompts, patches and revision chains. Occasional pieces that ditch AI completely – just to keep you guessing. If you like your music half-cyborg, half caffeine, follow the links above.
