Production for “Ballader för det bruna Sverige – Vol. 2” has officially started. The announcement notes that the material is not strictly “ballads” anymore – we keep the working title because it signals continuity and attitude, not a rigid form. Read the announcement: Vol. 2 has officially started.
Process
We prototype themes as short cues, validate phrasing against a reggae or half-time grid, then translate the strongest ideas into full arrangements. AI voices and textures are drafted first, but phrasing, swing and accent patterns are human. We trim syllables, re-consonant endings, and re-time syllable landings to make the skank breathe. Bass is printed in mono down low and allowed a narrow mid-side “growl” band for character.
Where to follow work in progress. Drafts typically surface on SoundCloud before DSP delivery. Start with the profile feed here: soundcloud.com/tornevall. The YouTube channel also features recent Ensemble uploads that inform the tone – for example, “Hotet Inifrån”, “Du Gamla, Du Fria, Du Horribla Tidö-Hymn” and “När Kristersson slutade vara…”. Release path
When a set meets our internal checks – mix translation on small speakers, lead intelligibility without over-deessing, lyric clarity – it moves to the main artist profiles on Spotify and Apple. Expect a staggered rollout with video companions on YouTube.
